Medora started with a diagnosis. When our founder, Armand Fatalot, was told he had epilepsy, he discovered what millions of people already knew: you can live an entire life around a condition you are never truly given the tools to understand. Seizures arrived without warning. Consultations were built on fragments of memory. Every decision — driving, swimming, sleeping alone — was made in the dark.

What struck him most was not the condition itself, but the imbalance it creates. The people who live with epilepsy every day are the ones with the least visibility into it. Triggers, patterns, medication effects — the knowledge exists, scattered across notebooks, memories and hospital records, but it rarely comes back to the patient in a form they can act on.

Medora was born from that frustration: build the tools that give epileptics power over their own pathology. Help them record what happens, see their patterns, understand their triggers, and walk into every consultation with real data instead of guesswork. What began as a personal need grew into a platform — a health tracker, a portal connecting patients and neurologists, and research toward a device that can detect seizures before they happen.
